ERC System is a Munich-based aviation startup that develops electrified aviation solutions for the most critical missions. The company’s hybrid-electric aircraft takes off vertically like a helicopter, but flies forward wing-borne, like an airplane. ERC’s flagship product is a crewed, hybrid-electric lift-and-cruise aircraft optimized for interhospital patient transport.
Founded in 2020 by experienced aerospace professionals, ERC currently has approximately 60 employees and is backed by aerospace powerhouse IABG, a leading provider of testing and certification services for aircraft, spacecraft, and defense solutions. As UAS Operations and SORA Specialist, your mission is to own the operational approval process and readiness of our UAS missions across Europe. You are responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving Operations Manuals and operational documentation that are clear, authority-ready, and compliant with EASA and JARUS requirements. You ensure that operational approvals are achieved across different SAIL categories through coordination with national authorities and EASA.
By working closely with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, you ensure our UAS operations are safe, compliant, and executable — from first concept to flight campaign execution.
