The company’s hybrid-electric aircraft takes off vertically like a helicopter, but flies forward wing-borne, like an airplane. ERC’s flagship product is a crewed, hybrid-electric lift-and-cruise aircraft optimized for interhospital patient transport.
Founded in 2020 by experienced aerospace professionals, ERC currently has approximately 60 employees and is backed by aerospace powerhouse IABG, a leading provider of testing and certification services for aircraft, spacecraft, and defense solutions. As Quality Manager, you are responsible for building, implementing and continuously improving our Quality Management System in line with EN 9100, laying the foundation for future certification and scalable organizational growth.
Your primary focus lies on consolidating existing processes, identifying gaps and establishing a structured, audit-ready quality framework across the organization.
This is not a purely documentation-focused role — you will take ownership of translating quality requirements into practical, day-to-day processes and ensuring that quality is effectively embedded in how we work.
Operating in a startup environment, this role requires a high degree of flexibility, pragmatism and ownership. You will define structures while also working hands-on to implement them together with engineering, leadership and other key stakeholders.
