We elevate critical missions.
Engineering the leading electrified aviation platform - made in Europe for those who protect, serve, and sustain what matters most.

ERC System is a Munich-based aviation startup that develops electrified aviation solutions for the most critical missions. The company’s hybrid-electric aircraft takes off vertically like a helicopter, but flies forward wing-borne, like an airplane. It provides high speeds, long ranges, and cost-efficient operations for patient, passenger, and cargo transport. ERC’s flagship product is a crewed, hybrid-electric lift-and-cruise aircraft optimized for interhospital patient transport.
Founded in 2020 by experienced aerospace professionals, ERC currently has approximately 60 employees and is backed by aerospace powerhouse IABG, a leading provider of testing and certification services for aircraft, spacecraft, and defense solutions. The team focuses on heads-down engineering, capital-efficient development, and designing aircraft that fulfill highest customer and regulatory requirements. Further Information on: www.erc-system.com

As Junior Systems Engineer, your mission is to integrate, develop, and validate our flight control and avionics and electrical systems, ensuring they work reliably and seamlessly in our eVTOL aircraft.
You contribute across the full development lifecycle — from requirements engineering and system design to integration and testing — bridging hardware and software to bring complex systems to flight readiness. By defining interfaces, analyzing communication architectures, and supporting flight tests, you play a key role in transforming system concepts into safe, high-performing airborne systems.
Working in a highly interdisciplinary environment, you collaborate closely with system, software, and hardware teams while continuously improving tools, methods, and technical concepts to shape the next generation of aerial mobility.
