ERC System is a Munich-based aviation startup that develops electrified aviation solutions for the most critical missions. The company’s hybrid-electric aircraft take off vertically like helicopters, but fly forward wing-borne, like airplanes. They provide high speeds, long ranges, and cost-efficient operations for patient, passenger, and cargo transport. ERC’s flagship product is a crewed, hybrid-electric lift-and-cruise aircraft optimized for interhospital patient transport.
Founded in 2020 by experienced aerospace professionals, ERC currently has approximately 60 employees and is backed by aerospace powerhouse IABG, a leading provider of testing and certification services for aircraft, spacecraft, and defense solutions. We work closely with customers and strategic partners to validate use cases, shape market entry strategies, and demonstrate the real-world impact of our electrified aviation solutions through targeted engagements, product demonstrations, and industry presence.
As Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Intern (m/f/d), you will support the Commercial Team in translating strategic intent into concrete action. Working closely with the Vice President of Business Development and in collaboration with Product, Operations, and Communications, you will contribute to business development initiatives and partnership activities. Your role combines hands-on support with analytical work, providing exposure to strategic decision-making, partner collaboration, and market-facing activities at the intersection of technology and commercial execution.
